UCCRN C40 Centre Talk

UCCRN was featured as a special guest on C40's monthly webinar series to present key findings from the Third Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities, and discuss the state of urban climate science. 

On May 28th, 2024, as part of its Centre Talks, C40 hosted a webinar featuring UCCRN co-directors Dr. Cynthia Rosenzweig and Dr. Bill Solecki. Both Dr. Rosenzweig and Dr. Solecki provided a brief overview of UCCRN and the ongoing Third Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities and the latest in city climate science.

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session moderated by former Mayor of Toronto and C40 Managing Director David Miller, along with a brief overview of his latest book, Solved

Major findings from the ARC3.3 COVID-19, Equity, and Urban Climate Science Elements were discussed, as well as the latest trends in cities and key recommendations for city practitioners and researchers. 

UCCRN looks forward to continuing to interact and collaborate with C40 to further cities' resilience and adaptability to climate change.
